The challenge

Turning European history into an explorable experience

Liberation Route Europe is a transnational memorial connecting the history of Europe's liberation with the places, people, and stories that carry its memory.

The website needed to make a large, multilingual, and geographically complex collection understandable to visitors while giving editors a practical way to manage connected historical content.

Working directly with the Liberation Route Europe organization, our team led the complete digital implementation for that generation.

What we delivered

Geographical discovery

Custom maps connected locations and cross-border routes, helping visitors explore a transnational story through physical places.

Rich historical content

A structured WordPress content model brought together memorial sites, biographies, stories, routes, and itineraries.

Multilingual publishing

Editors managed an extensive body of geographically distributed content for audiences across multiple European countries and languages.

Complete platform delivery

Our scope covered architecture, UX, WordPress development, mapping, content modelling, and integrations.

Historical project
